The off-grid solution with the new energy storage system – higher efficiency, reduced noise emissions and optimised generator utilisation for applications on construction sites, bridge renovations or tunnel constructions are just some of the results achieved with the energy storage system.
Its underlying principle is simple but efficient: While the generator is running, it supplies the connected consumers with electricity and simultaneously charges the batteries installed in the energy storage system. The energy storage system absorbs load peaks and allows generators to operate in the optimal power range. As a result, the connected diesel generator can be smaller and therefore more cost-efficient. As soon as the load decreases, the power generator is automatically stopped, and the energy storage system silently supplies the consumers from its batteries. Consumers with a lower power draw are supplied exclusively via the energy storage system. For applications involving consumers with a high-power draw, such as a crane system, the energy storage system automatically starts the generator and automatically synchronizes the grid. Both devices now work in combination, whereby the power of both is added together.

Microtherm sensors are used for temperature measurement. The value measured by the sensor is used for overtemperature protection, to trigger functions or to display the measured temperature. Our temperature sensors not only safeguard and protect electric motors and/or electric heaters by switching them off, but also provide signals for temperature indication, power reduction or other functions. With the help of our diverse manufacturing processes, we embed sensor elements in customised assemblies.
